What I Had In My Makeup Bag
I recently went on a short family trip to Legoland. As you well know, Florida has some of the worst humid summer days in the country. But I still wanted to look cute while on vacation, so I definitely had a few things in my makeup bag.
I am actually a very light packer. And as you probably guessed, I am not a high maintenance type.
I figured BB cream would be a lot easier to carry and apply while on my vacation, so I brought my Laneige BB Cream (the white compact) with me. It works really well and actually has medium coverage. I also brought my Loreal True Match Blendable Powder to set the BB cream.
Too Faced's Anti-Crease Eye Shadow Primer came in handy to keep my eye shadow in place.
Lorac's Pro To Go palette was awesome. I used those neutral colors lightly on my lids just to give a little life to my eyes. And I used two of my Bare Minerals brushes for the bronzer and blushes that are included in that palette.
The Maybelline Rocket Waterproof Mascara was great and it did not smudge, or run the entire time I wore it. That's important when you are in a tropical climate!
I just HAD to bring products for my crazy brows, LOL! Maybelline's Define a Brow pencil and IT Cosmetics Your Brows But Better pencil were godsends!
For the lips I only had two things with me. First Aid Beauty's Ultra Repair Lip Therapy to keep these kissy lips soft and hydrated and Loreal's NEW Extraordinaire by Colour Riche Lip Color in Rose Melody. It was my first time using the Loreal product and I really like the way it felt like a gloss but did not slide around on my lips. It went on smooth and the color was very pigmented.
Well, thanks for taking this short trip with me & visiting my travel makeup bag!
