First Impressions ~ Sonia Kashuk Chic Luminosity Glow Powder

What's up Makeup  Maniacs?  I tried a new product and I want to give you the scoop on this one.  It is the Sonia Kashuk Chic Luminosity Glow Powder.
Sonia Kashuk® Chic Luminosity Glow Powder
I believe this is an item that can only be found at Target stores.  (Me, shop at Target?...Nooo, LOL)  It costs $12.99.  I became interested in this product when Tati, the Glam Life Guru (an awesome YouTuber - you should check her out), talked about it on her channel.  Since I am getting up in age, I'm well aware that having that "glow" takes some time off the face.  I figured this product would be a great addition to my repertoire.
My thoughts?  Well, originally, I figured this would be something I'd use to highlight my upper cheeks, forehead, and bridge of my nose. However, upon using it for the first time, I realized that it was extremely finely milled, like a regular pressed powder that I would use for setting my liquid foundation.  Apparently, that's exactly what it is.  For some reason I thought it was for highlighting.  I guess I didn't pay too much attention to what Tati was saying about it.  I also let the word "luminosity" get the best of me.
So, this is a good face setting powder that has a very sheer brightening effect.  As far as specifically highlighting areas, this is not the product for that, because the "glow" is not glow-y enough.  If you want a good, inexpensive highlighter, get yourself the Wet n Wild Fergie Shimmer Palette in Rose Champagne Glow!  For $5.99 that particular product will not steer you wrong!
On a 5 star scale with 5 being the best score and 1 being the worst score, I give this product 3 stars!  I feel like the product's name is quite misleading.  I think they should have called it pressed powder with a slight glow, or something along those lines.  It worked well as a pressed powder, giving an ever-so-slight-glow-from-within look to the skin, but it is not good as a stand alone highlighter.
