Today I would like to talk about colorful eyeliner that is actually wearable for the 40+ crowd. I am currently wearing Loreal's Silkissimee in True Teal, but to tone down this bold color, I used a matte brown shadow across the lid and double lined my eyes with Revlon's Color Stay Liquid Eye Pen in Black.
First I primed my eyelid (of course). Then, I packed on one of Milani's new eyeshadows from the "Bella Eyes" collection. The one I used is called Bella Cafe. I did use NYX's Baked Eyeshadow in Moonshine on my browbone, a bit above the crease, and in the inner corner of my eye (near the tear ducts). I then swooped the teal liner across the lash line and made a mini wing to make my eyes look bigger and give that extra POW! Afterward, I used the Revlon Color Stay eyeliner closely along my lashline. This tamed the teal color a bit, making this look more appropriate for my work environment. On the lower lash line I smudged a little of that Bella Cafe color. In my inner waterline I used Rimmel's Scandal Eyes Eyeliner in Nude to brighten my eyes a bit. After curling my lashes, I applied 2 coats of Too Faced Better than Sex Mascara.
