Bye Bye Beauty!

Hi Makeup Maniacs! I haven't done an empties video since November 2016, so I thought it was about time to share the things that I've used up since then.  I hope you find my mini reviews helpful :-)

Time to Save Money

I recently had an epiphany and wanted to share. I have realized that in 2016 I spent way too much money trying new makeup & skincare products.  Very few items are sent to me for public relations purposes.  Sometimes when I am offered free items, I don't feel comfortable accepting because they're coming from companies I've never heard of, so I pass.  Therefore, most of the products that I use and review are bought by none other than moi. 


I realize that my obsession has taken a life of it's own and although my collection is smaller than many other women's, it is quite large for me.  I could never get through all of the makeup I have, even though I wear makeup EVERY. DAY.  There's just too much of it. 

So, today, Makeup Maniacs, I have declared that it is time for me to save my money!  In 2017, I am turning over a new leaf...I will be using makeup items from my stash and only purchasing NEEDS, not wants.  For example:  Do I need a new foundation when I have 13 foundations sitting on my vanity?  No.  Now, once all of those foundations run out, will I need ONE new foundation? Yes, one! Lol! 

Despite this change, I hope you continue to enjoy my blog posts and YouTube videos.  Stay tuned, as on January 23, 2017, I will be posting an "empties" video - showing items I have finished up and stating whether or not I would recommend them to others.
