Hey everybody! I recently went shopping! (What else is new?) I just thought I'd share what I bought just in case you are interested (wink, wink).
So, all this stuff are drug store finds, which means I didn't pay too much for them. Well, I don't know if my husband would agree with that statement, but let's just say they did NOT cost too much. I went to 3 different stores for these. My tri-fecta of happiness - Target, CVS, and Walgreens!
So, this is another "YouTube made me buy it" product. It's Jergen's BB Body Cream and the beauty vloggers are raving about it. It's supposed to even out the skin tone on your body, the same way BB Creams do for the face. We'll see if I like it and perhaps I will do a First Impressions blog post. (Let me know if you are interested in that by telling me in the comments section below). $11.99 is a bit to pay for lotion, in my humble opinion, but it was more expensive at CVS and Walgreens so I caved when I saw it at Target for the lowest price.
- 3 Loreal Glossy Balms for $7.99 each, 1 Loreal Silkissimee Eyeliner in Cobalt Blue for $8.99 (Walgreens had a buy 1 get the other 50% off, so I actually paid less than these prices) 1 Jordana Lip Liner in Baby Berry for $1.39, 3 Milani Bella Eyes for $3.99 each, and Rimmel London's Moisture Lipstick in Nude Delight for $6.99 - all at Walgreens baby!
So, I saw those Loreal Glossy Balms advertised in a magazine I recently was looking through and then spotted them at my local Walgreens. Oh, boy! And I bought 3 of them because I could not decide which color I liked more. If I try one and don't like the formula or the way it looks, I will just return them. And ladies, if you haven't tried the Silkissimmee eyeliners by Loreal, they are definitely worth looking into. They are creamy, go on smooth and last all day! LOVE! The Jordana Lip Liners are pretty and rich in color. They are not drying. I have one in the color "Tawny", so I decided to try "Baby Berry". And for $1.39? Come on! Milani Bella Eyes are becoming my favorite eyeshadows. They go on like velvet. You can do a great look using your fingers or your favorite brushes. Again, the price is right. Now, the lipstick color Nude Delight from Rimmel is such a simple, neutral color that I couldn't resist buying that one. It's so pretty and looks so creamy. I've actually never bought a lipstick from Rimmel so this should be interesting....
- My items from CVS: 1 NYC Liquid Concealer in Medium for $4.99, 1 NYC Smooth Skin Bronzer in Sunny for $2.99 (I paid less because there was a buy 1, get 1 50% off sale for NYC products - Yay!), 1 Maybelline Dream Blush in "Pink Plum" (#40) for $8.29, and Maybelline's Define-A-Brow Eyebrow Pencil in "Medium Brown" for $8.29 (no sale, but I received $5 in CVS Extra Bucks with this purchase - double Yay!)
Ok, so the shopping at CVS was totally impulse buys except for the NYC Liquid Concealer. I already own and love this concealer. For the price it gets the job done. It hides my dark spots and my eye bags. I also use it as a highlighter above my cheekbones, across my forehead, and on my cupid's bow. Another great, inexpensive product! The NYC Bronzer was one of those things I've seen and heard about, but never thought to buy because I honestly have like 5 or 6 different bronzers. But what's one more, right? The same thoughts went through my head about the Maybelline Dream Blush. Seen it so many times, but didn't buy it because I have a few blushes already. Well...now I have another one for the collection (YIKES). The Maybelline Define-A-Brow Eyebrow Pencil is something I talked about with my bestie. She bought one, hooked her eyebrows up and I just HAD to try it for myself...Veronica, YOU made me do it.
Well, thanks for hanging in with me. I hope you are in it for the long HAUL! Get it, haul, I made a funny. I know, I'm corny.
